Thanjavur: In Thanjavur, the Liberation Tigers of India staged a protest by stopping BJP members who got here to garland Ambedkar’s statue. In protest towards this, the BJP took half in a highway blockade.
At Mariyal Village on Thanjavur Nanchikottai Highway, there’s a 7 ft tall statue of Ambedkar in entrance of the workplace of Adityamizhar Preservation Society and Dr. Ambedkar Schooling Belief alongside the highway. BJP members additionally staged a highway blockade on Nanchikottai Highway close to the Ambedkar statue saying that they won’t go with out garlanding the statue of Ambedkar. Resulting from this there was a stir.
