Metro Rail Building | Ayanavaram Andersen highway blocked for site visitors from tomorrow Metro Rail Building | Ayanavaram Andersen Street shall be closed from tomorrow

Chennai: Anderson Street shall be closed and vehicular site visitors shall be restricted from tomorrow (Jan. 25) for Metro Rail building work, based on the Chennai Metropolitan Site visitors Police.

Chennai Metropolitan Site visitors Police has issued a message on this regard: It’s proposed to hold out the next site visitors adjustments on a trial foundation for 7 days from Wednesday 25.01.2023 to hold out the development work of Metro Rail at Ayanavaram Andersen Street. Therefore the next site visitors adjustments are made.

• Andersen Street shall be closed and vehicular site visitors shall be restricted for the Metro Rail building work.
• Pilkington Street is transformed right into a one-way lane from Konnore Freeway to Constable Street Junction.
• Automobiles going to Perambur from Konnur Freeway and Medavakkam Kulam Street junction through Anderson Street can take a proper flip from Konnur Freeway and Medavakkam Kulam Street junction and proceed through Konnur Freeway, Tank Bund Street, Chandrayogi Samadhi Avenue and Perambur Freeway. • Automobiles going to Perambur from Konnur Freeway and Medavakkam Kulam Street Junction through Anderson Street, take a proper flip from Konnur Freeway and Medavakkam Kulam Street Junction and proceed through Konnur Freeway, Ottery Junction, Cooks Street and Perambur Freeway. (or)
• From the junction of Konnur Freeway and Medavakkam Kulam Street to Perambur through Anderson, take a left flip on the junction of Konnur Freeway and Medavakkam Kulam Street and proceed through Konnur Freeway, Portugese Street, Constable Street and Pilkington Street.
• From Bilkington Street junction at Constable Street, motor cycles and light-weight automobiles which may go to Konnur Freeway through Anderson Street can enter Konnur Freeway through Pilkington Street.
• Heavy automobiles can take a proper flip on the intersection of Constable Street and Pilkington Street and proceed to Konnur Freeway through Constable Street, Porzuges Street.
• From Konnur Freeway through Pilkington Street in the direction of Perambur is just not allowed. Such automobiles can go straight on the Konnur freeway and take a left flip by way of Tank Bund Street. That is said in it.
